I provide Coaching, Supervision, Training and Consultancy, drawing on my therapeutic training to work in an integrated way, enabling sustainable change.
Coaching
I coach leaders and teams across corporate, public and third sector organisations, and people looking for support develop confidence in their authentic selves to make changes in their life and work.
The starting point for the work is to identify how or what we want to change, and to acknowledge our existing values and strengths.
Our ability to move forward is often impeded by assumptions and patterns of behaviour adopted in the past that no longer serve us.
A genuine focus on our qualities and strengths, identifying and removing untrue limiting assumptions lived as true, and consideration of new information, sometimes in the shape of different tools or frameworks, can bring the insight and energy needed to create new internal and external patterns of living.
Supervision
I have extensive experience of supervising counsellors, coaches, and practitioners in related fields. I provide a safe and creative space within which to reflect on integrated or coaching work with clients and the further development of professional practice. Please see further information on the supervision page.
Training and Facilitation
As a licensed Time to Think Coach, Facilitator, Teacher, and Consultant, all my work with individuals and groups is underpinned by a commitment to creating an environment for people to think well for, and as themselves.
I have an excellent track record of developing and delivering training for national organisations. I co-designed and facilitated Therapist2Coach training, taking counsellors to senior practitioner level with EMCC, which won a European Quality Award. I am a co-founder and facilitator for Working Titles Leadership. I offer both Foundation and Thinking Partnership Courses as a Time to Think teacher. Along with Karen Ledger I offer coaching and workshops focusing on the “Third Act” of life.
Writing
I write about the integration of counselling and coaching in Coaching Today and Therapy Today and have contributed to books on this subject, including a chapter in Personal Consultancy.
Pro-bono and Voluntary roles have included Chair of school governors, Executive Specialist for Training, and Chair of BACP Coaching Division.
I am a founder member of Coaching for Social Impact, a global, inclusive, diverse, and energetic community which aims to bring together anyone involved in coaching people for the social good in a supportive and collaborative network. I host the coaching for social impact podcast
